From San José, the drive to our finca is an estimated four-hour journey, taking you through some of Costa Rica’s most breathtaking landscapes. As you approach the Tinamaste region, the road narrows, and the pavement gives way to unpaved, winding mountain roads.
The final leg of the journey is a 30-minute ascent into the high mountains of Pérez Zeledón. As the elevation increases, you’ll feel the stresses of modern life begin to melt away, replaced by a deep sense of peace and anticipation.
The stunning views along the way —lush valleys, towering peaks, and glimpses of the distant ocean—are just a preview of the natural beauty that awaits you at Finca Bella Vida.
You can also hire a Monkey Ride “private car” — monkeyridecr.com — to drive you directly to and from Finca Bella Vida and the airport. Book the ride about two weeks ahead of your visit.
